Well, 62 episodes later but finally through my binge session of Breaking Bad. What to move on to next?

I'm not seeing things again am I? It's not just me is it?

That's a super sneaky reference hiding in plain sight in Breaking Bad right there when you see how things work out later in the series.

Got my next playlist lined up.

It's been a bit of of a slog but finally got through every episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. The question is what is next to go on the binge watch list to get through before I die.

I know complete overkill but having a tool that'll cover multiple tasks is what it's all about when downsizing. Plus it does a better job having an in-built safety function by not allowing for over-cutting.

It's German week at Lidl this week and the missus got a load of Currywurst in. I've hardly been eating anything more than a bit of mashed potato for dinner the last week. That's such an indulgent change even if I could only eat half but utter heaven.

Decamped to my mothers again to free up space for the sister-in-laws visit. Only bringing the bare essentials with me.

Just had to be done.

TBF, I've been quite happy with my tinkering so far, definitely improved things, despite considering there's been those two cold spells this month that sort of coincide with the two peaks in usage but when you compare she was using almost a gigawatt of leccy this time last year a month, not bad goin

Finally getting around to what I wanted to do today - sorting out the entire family file system. Finally done and backing up the music collection. Also starting to feel comfortable on this install of Linux Mint. May need to copy this when I set up another install of it on another machine in a bit.

Down my mom's and it's been a year to the day since the install of her Air Source Heat Pump. We've turned it up a little lately for extra cosines so efficiency may go down but bloody hell, almost to the KwH it's been run off the solar panels entirely, effectively. @ianrobo.bsky.social

Down my mom's and come across this local magazine called Willenhall Life. I know I'm quite finicky when it comes to proof reading but don't think I'd have OK'd this one.

I know I'm on drugs that's send me a bit loopy but am I the only one that sees a sleeping dragon here?

Said goodbye to my trusty Birmingham A-Z. Essential kit for a Labour Party organiser back in the 90's/early 2000's. How the world has changed.

My word I am being treated today at the QE in Brum. When they said there's lunch I was only expecting a sarnie. Ended up with pork teriyaki and rice. Nom nom nom. ♥️NHS

Thanks muchly to whoever donated this blood. Feel terrible to have to rely on others because my platelets levels are so low but it is as it is I guess.

Well, that turned out to be an absolute success. Almost spot on for the pies my mom used to make for me as a kid and both the missus and kids loved them. Plenty left for tomorrow as well.

Three pies, one veggie two meat and veggie ready for the oven. Been attempting (with a little help from my mom) to make the pies I loved with gravy as a kid for my not so little one's. Fingers crossed they work out fine.

Hello to my new setup thanks to the Walsall NHS Palliative Care team who only assessed me on Friday and I'm all kitted out with a 'propping' stool and controllable bed.

Goodbye to my faithful old friend of a sofa bed that was literally the first bit of furniture I bought for my house 23 years ago as somewhere to temporarily kip on and have currently been sleeping on for the last 2 years.

Probably the most important file I was hoping wasn't corrupted or lost to having been on a random floppy disc in a drawer for the last 23 years. My undergraduate dissertation. Was rather proud of that one in the day, I wonder how it stands up to time?
