i interpret this in the same way i described the internet in my last post. corporate, monitored, every single media outlet owns each other. before all this we had individual platforms, youtubers who did their own thing! everything is the same now? #TMITM

the global village, the internet is an amazing place. people of all types and opinions can come together and talk and gather information. but recently i’ve seen the internet be monitored, its not the same as it was in the beginnng. it’s corporate now, less authentic #TMITM

“we have to find environments in which it will be possible to live with our new inventions” this reminds me of everyone’s fear of ai taking over the world. technology is an extension of us so it makes sense why we fear it. we want it to do our jobs for us but are scared of it taking over. #TMITM

“most people find it difficult to understand purely verbal concepts. They suspect the ear; they don’t trust it” this is especially true, needing to google something because you don’t believe your friend has the accurate knowledge. i’m guilty of this too especially when i don’t wanna be wrong #TMITM

I always find it absurd when I have an idea for a new process at work or any other place and it’s not considered because i’m young or just a server. This is why a lot of businesses should prioritize hiring younger people, especially when the industry involves marketing to a young demographic #TMITM

I took a class called gender evolutions of sex and gender in animals. There was one study where men studied a flock of birds and tried to understand their hierarchy. Stuck in their own rules they couldn’t even think of females dominating the hierarchy. spoiler: the females did dominate. #TMITM

the way information was spread in the past is completely different from now. it does explain why there’s such a seperation in generations. we grew up being able to take in so much information while our parents and grandparents only woke up and watched the news. ofc communication would be off #TMITM
