Thank you, Rep., Kenyatta for going on the show and then taking the time to completely deconstruct what happened. This should be immensely helpful for all Dem candidates, sitting pols, and voters to better understand/deal with the Republican media sphere.
So I went on a conservative ‘news’ show and it got weird, fast.

To be clear, there is bipartisan opposition to cutting AmeriCorps. Just last week, Reps. Bacon and Fitzpatrick joined @dorismatsui.bsky.social and me in supporting AmeriCorps and reminding Trump that public service is one of the greatest American values.

We're starting to get a picture of Cody Balmer, the hate-filled 38-year-old Harrisburg man who tossed Molotov cocktails in Heineken bottles into Gov. Josh Shapiro's mansion and burned down the room where his family held a Passover seder hours earlier (gift link) share.inquirer.com/Vth48h
Pa. man charged with attempting to kill Gov. Josh Shapiro told police he hated him and would have beaten him
Cody Balmer, 38, of Harrisburg, walked an hour to the residence before scaling a fence and breaking into the residence. He evaded police and fled on foot, before turning himself in.

When this is over, U.S. rights abusers must be tried for crimes against humanity
Escalating reports of human rights crimes from Kristi Noem's propaganda to ICE cruelty must be wiped clean with justice.

We are lining up to be Trump's seventh bankruptcy. The tax cuts, which will increase debt, are not sustainable, and I fear there may not be a market for the debt, especially if China joins Japan in selling its T-Bills.

Tariffs can earn tax money or protect domestic businesses—not both.  What company would build manufacturing capacity if the protective tariff could be removed?

Firing the entire staff of LIHEAP is an attack on everyday Americans struggling against rising energy costs. LIHEAP helped over 300K households in Pennsylvania stay warm and keep energy bills low last season. I call on HHS to reverse the firings, protect our families, and restore LIHEAP.

To call this irresponsible would be a massive understatement.

The American people deserve to know that their leaders can be trusted to protect our national security. Not even 100 days in, the Trump administration just proved they're not up to the task.
