🧵 This is a perfect example of what I've be describing as disordered discourse, and it's threat to democracy. Politicians are afraid to speak openly about key issues.

Why? Because disordered discourse has captured the system itself—forcing obedience, punishing dissent, and making truth irrelevant.

While I was having my digestive system looked at from the inside, here's what Democrats were doing:

Donald Trump and Elon Musk have arrogated congressional power to themselves, Jonathan Chait writes: “The true urgent cause is to return that power to the legislature before the damage becomes irreversible.”

"Elon Musk is not the president, but it appears that he—a foreign-born, unelected billionaire who was not confirmed by Congress—is exercising profound influence over the federal government of the United States...It is nothing short of an administrative coup."

So when all was said and done, the only country that opened it's prisons and sent crazy murderous criminals to prey upon innocent American citizens, was us.
