Still have plenty of 867 cassettes though!! I might be biased but if you love the record, I'd say this is a pretty essential item for you. We made alterations to all 10 tracks, some change their entire sound!

867 was released a month ago today. It's been a very surreal thirty days and while I am still hopelessly burnt out, the reach that this record has had makes me very excited for whatever comes next. I'm on that broken record shit but thank you so much for your continued attention and support! 🫏🐐

obviously its gonna drop to the high 50s when the charts update on Tuesday but for this week, 867 was at #20 on the Best of 2024 chart on rateyourmusic (and #2,563 of all time) and I think that's pretty neat, thank you for whatever that's worth lmao

Streetlight By Streetlight is one of the few story songs on 867. It's sung from the POV of 1 of the moose on the roof of this cabin (that has had many different owners since the 1930s) that I and most Yukoners have passed thousands of times in our lives. Born mossy, mouldy, torn.

This is the letter that the track Old George is almost entirely derived from, written in 1945 by Cole's grandfather, Michael. The song was written when Cole (who's given name is also Michael) was 3 days younger than Michael was at the time of writing the letter.

867 came out last Sunday and the kind words from the people on my computer have been crazy affirming to read & respond to, so glad this record is reaching so many people!! Thank you all < 3 (this is a clip of the title track, one of the more jazz-centric and rhythmically complex cuts)
