Welcome to all our followers from the other place, and to new connections here! Follow us for news about our annual summer meeting for pharmacologists in the Great Lakes region, including Chicagoland, Wisconsin, and beyond.
As we all know, scientific funding has been especially challenging this year. Many early-career researchers are being especially impacted. This is why ASPET has created the Support Our Scientists (SOS) Fund to advocate for funds and support expanded travel grant access for ASPET meetings. 1/2

Martin Ettlin Cuitiño of Lake Forest College won 1st place in the undergraduate category of the poster competition. His poster was entitled, "Glial-specific function of the Endoplasmic Reticulum Membrane Protein Complex (EMC): distinct roles of individual subunits." Congrats, Martin!

Shilpa Sharma PhD presents in the Young Investigator Symposium. Her talk was entitled, “Mapping the Free Energy Landscape of AF9-BCOR: Unraveling Intrinsically Disordered Protein Interactions in Leukemia.” Dr. Sharma is a Post-doctoral Associate in the Saha Lab at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
