Or without screening: adjuvant chemotherapy for 6 months with all the side effects, second or third biopsy, larger surgery potentially involving lymph nodes and lymphadema, followed by more extensive radiotherapy followed by reconstructive surgery and all the psychological effects, even financial?

It's not just about mortality! It's about quality of life!! To put it bluntly, a very small lump being removed and a couple of sessions of radiotherapy.

Are you joking? Breast cancer screening?! Yes not all would kill you, but there's no way of telling which ones, are you going to take that chance? Also if you catch them early it can mean less invasive surgery, no chemo (a big bonus!!) and low chance of metastatic disease!!

Fliss I'm not opposed to the boys learning to quarter a chicken for GCSE... it's a good skill and Will said his parmesan goujons were decent! I am opposed to Will telling me late on Sunday evening that he needed a whole raw chicken on Monday morning!! 😂

Warrington was empty, we weren't there Saturday but either me, Colin or both were there Sunday, Monday and today and I definitely wouldn't call it busy. Maybe everyone was organised on Black Friday or bought everything online?
