Tear it all down EXCEPT the gold around the White House. Instead, each week the new President puts out a short video about the achievements that are harder to picture - the new policies, the new executive orders. Chip off one gold emblem for each one on video until they are all gone.

This is also one of my total classics, it’s a great movie…other than that really unfortunate scene near the end that makes it hard for me to recommend it without caveats

Life hack: I discovered my local library provides a free link I can use every week to read WAPO. I stopped officially subscribing last year. I still go to the website because I love Carolyn Hax.

The part I’ll never understand is, unless your ancestors were indigenous, we ALL started as immigrants here. Not seeing that is as anti-American as it gets.

I’ve written to both of my senators, but I live in Washington State and they both agree with me already. I have also written to quite a few Republican Senators, but I am not their constituent, so they don’t care. It sounds like they don’t care about their actual constituents either.
