How could society improve, if nobody is even talking about what a better society might be like? Or how to get there? If let’s say, people only talk about what is wrong or what could go wrong…while zero attention is given to what is possible… How could meaningful change for the better even begin?

Been looking for conversations on Bluesky that explore how society could get vastly better, like “What world could we imagine?” (since so much is possible now). Yet have so far found nothing. Nobody even discusses it. Very strange…

So many people are talking about him here, that it almost feels like he is…

Good question… I wonder about something related: is there any real communication happening at all on this platform? For example creative threads where people explore and develop ideas (like the future of cities)? I just havent seen anything like that so far…(a few weeks in now)

I wonder why there is not more focus on designing urban-natural habitats at scale, from the ground up, and turn them into thriving circular ecosystems for people and other life forms to coexist harmoniously… Seems like such an obvious opportunity to combine many good things 😊

Could we use this technology to create a scenario of real ecologically sustainable abundance, health and psychological well-being, so that war eventually simply doesnt happen?

I sometimes consider this when engaging in longer creative dialogues with LLMs…definitely a few of those boxes are checked, even if the experience and learning is on my part. Yet it definitely feels like co-design and it makes me think humans could do a lot more of that. Even here on Bluesky!😊

I often have reoccurring dreams where I fly…just a little above the ground, almost like floating in the air…and the people around dont notice it…I kind of know Im dreaming, or sometimes wonder about it. Other times its like a film with a complex plot and strange symbols. Usually a peaceful feeling.

Would be wonderful if Bluesky becomes an arena for deeper and more interesting conversations. I would especially love to see creative explorations of new big ideas and possibilities. I’ve mostly been in Facebook, where there’s a lot of great people, but not much interaction of substance.

A decentralized social internet, where people can tailor their own online experience freely, seems to be so much needed in the world. Ive just been here a few days yet, but already found many interesting people to follow. Will be fun to see how Bluesky evolves 🙂
