I am early Gen X as well. I briefly followed people in my graduating class on social media and then quickly realized that most were maga brained. Lead exposure, second hand smoke, parents that did not give a fuck about a healthy environment, etc. We are generally cooked.

Your town has an alternative station, something-something ‘the X”. Oddly the Foo Fighters are alternative even though it’s 30 year old dad rock (the reality that the Foo Fighters are 30 years old is a shock).
