My final deck for this list is my most powerful. My Henzie deck had a lot of help from the Henzie Discord. I have my own unique spins on it, but it was cool feeling like I was building a deck with a community. I hope to see some readers there!

My Urza deck was an inexpensive decklist I got off the internet to learn to play Esper. I haven't played it a lot but it was kind of cool. Within the last month or so, I've started really putting work into it and it's changed a lot. Let's see how it does!

Another returning deck is Pantlaza. I mostly ignore the typical blink strategy and instead focus on top-deck manipulation and explosive finishes with Kindred Summons or Last March of the Ents. It's pretty battlecruiser and I love playing it at my lgs when I can.

As for returning decks, Killian lives to see another new year. This is a fun deck made of only cards with a common or uncommon printing. The deck power is lower as a result and I don't really get to play it much anymore, but I love this deck. I hope to use it more next year.

A surprise hit for me this year was Six. I challenged myself to build a deck out of my collection and what I can trade for, no spending money allowed. This was the result and I'm very pleased with it. I have some cool cards I just didn't have stuck anywhere. This deck sells in value quickly!

Another new deck has been Kastral, from my desire to learn Azorius and to have a flying deck. It's low power and I've struggled to win with it in my pod, but it's cool to have anyway.

Another new deck was Aesi. I always kind of wanted this deck and ended up buying it to play next to a beginning playing a Wilhelt precon. I haven't upgraded this precon. It's what I put on the table when I care more about socializing than being competitive and give the brain a break.

New decks I fell in love with is lead by Bruse and Ikra! I adore this deck. It's all about being aggressive and attacking. I've been working hard to make an awesome primer for this deck. I worked hard to make this work, and it's very me. I'm very happy with it.

Another deck that technically hasn't made it is Hazel. My pod each bought a precon to play with and this was mine, but it's a project for next year.

A new deck that didn't make it was Rin and Seri. I'm pretty disappointed about this one, but I just didn't make it work right. I'll come back to it someday, but I'm taking a break from it for now.

It's still at about two years since I came back to Magic, so my collection is growing more than anything.
Questing Beast is ny one deck from last year that didn't make it. I played on game last year with the fog strategy. I won! It was cool! But I felt like I did the thing. No reason to keep it.

I expected Barns Courtney to be all over this list. I'm super surprised it isn't #1. Meanwhile, Halestorm isn't even on the list! Big surprises all around.

I got really into Impulse when I was a kid. Makes sense for my hyperactive self. I even got Mark Waid's autograph this year! I've had this book for about 20 years now.

I think I got into comic books in middle school, and a lot of my first comics were Impulse. I love a lot of those characters, but I'm sentimental with Impulse in ways I'm just not for the rest. I actually got my old comic signed by Mark Waid this year.
