The LCD is also nice and takes any guesswork out of how much power is remaining, how much time you have left, etc.

I bought one for my desktop and liked it so much I bought another one for my server.
It just works. I deal with brownouts during bad weather and it keeps my PC and monitors on during those. In cases of total power loss I get about 30-40 minutes of runtime on an "idle" load. Of course YMMV.
