So please, make bad self inserts, “mary sue” OCs, fanfics that look like they were made by a 11 year old, stories or settings with inconsistency, “edgy” poems or roleplays, it honestly doesn’t matter, because there will be a person who’ll appreciate your effort and creativity.
It’s never too late.

Your not going to make everything perfect on first try and that’s ok. It’s literally how I improved my art over the years.
I personally think everyone including myself needs to remember our brains work out like any muscle, the only way your gonna improve at something is making work(s) that’s considered “cringe” or mistakes and learning from them.
