My haul from @globalbirdfair.bsky.social

The gull ID book probably speaks for itself 😅

My partner is from Spain & the proceeds of the Spanish book go towards supporting this crane conservation project. I need to restart learning Spanish & thought this was nice as it educates you.

Had a great time at my first @globalbirdfair.bsky.social talking about/signing my lynx book & screening my snow leopard short film.

Met some old friends & lots of new ones!

As always, I thoroughly enjoyed visiting
@globalbirdfair.bsky.social yesterday. A chance to catch up with friends and fellow conservationists from across the country. The talks by @theurbanbirder.bsky.social and @rspb.bsky.social Youth Council were also a lot of fun!

When you blend in too well with your stand setup… 😄

One of our team members couldn’t resist surprising a few unsuspecting visitors at the Global Birdfair this weekend!

Thanks to everyone who stopped by and to the organizers for making it all possible!

A superb weekend @globalbirdfair.bsky.social at Lyndon Top, Rutland. Bioblitzes with @panspecieslisting.bsky.social a highlight. Also Gropper and Yaffle in the hand, meeting lots of friends, books, art, BF quiz, cracking talk on seeing Clouded Leopard, and spending too much money on camera gear 😳😅
Putting the overdraft to good use! A Canon R7 mirror less with 100-500mm lens sits on a desk. Presentation on Sunda Clouded Leopard which is the rarest big cat on earth This year's Birdfair live mural on seabirds at several locales around the world

Just put up a video about @globalbirdfair.bsky.social 2025 which I attended last weekend, I talk about what's there, what events were going on and discuss the claims its just a wildlife travel show.

And there's a bit of bonus Osprey and Otter footage at the start too!
