💡 We suggested an innovative idea: an annual gathering of mayors, MEAs Secretariats and UNEP experts to advance the localization of MEAs. This gathering could be organized back-to-back to the UN Forum of Mayors and benefit from #InternationalGeneva rich multilateral environment.

We highlighted:

🌡️ GCH and @unep.org & Cool Coalition organized the #UNEA7 event “Beat the Heat: Local and Regional Action for a Resilient Planet.”

The discussion emphasized that extreme heat is no longer solely a climate issue, but also a major concern for health, equity, and governance.
