Back at the family farm, we poured scented water over Mama Pan & Papa Duke’s hands-an act of respect & to receive blessings for the new year.

Jay’s uncle bathed Buddha too. A quieter side of Songkran: reflection, renewal & gratitude.

From quiet blooms to splash zones 🌸💦
Our Songkran Day 1 started with Queen’s Wreath blossoms and birdsong on the farm. By afternoon, Lamae was alive—kids with buckets, barrels in truck beds, and pink splashes marking every passerby… even our bronze Subaru! 🚗🎨

Woke to Queen’s Wreath blooming in the morning sun—calm, quiet, bees buzzing. Last night we trekked dark hills after a belated birthday to be home with mom & dad.
