1) After much death and destruction, is this the outcome?

i) Though weakened, the regime survives
ii) Nuclear stockpile now hidden from international scrutiny

1) I hate to think that there is now probably enriched nuclear material in Iran that will no longer able to be internationally monitored and accounted for.

Where are the peacemakers today?

1) Not suggesting who to vote for today, but who not to vote for.

One major party has not done its homework, makes policy on the fly, borrows from the worst of destructive US populist politics, and has a leader who refuses to face the National Press Club or journalists of the public broadcaster.

With so much horror, turmoil and injustice in the world, what we need is Jesus-like world governance, or better still Jesus himself.

Love, peace, mercy and hope of eternal life, promised through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Why settle for anything less?

I do believe philosophical and religious truth can hold equal validity to statistical truth. Statistical truth should not always be held up as the pinnacle.

Though I believe in protecting against psychological abuse, especially for the vulnerable, I do feel very strongly in upholding freedoms including the liberty to change one's identity, regardless of the nature of that identity. I feel it is vital for a liberal society.

1) I cannot help but be a little cynical when politicians from only one party, bearing a message that though non-partisan enough is not explicitly signed onto and affirmed by all parties—or at least the major parties—turn up to significant community cultural events...

The world's richest: Putin, Musk, Bezos, even Zuckerberg. All in league with Trump.

Now, who was it who said in ages past, "Woe to the rich!"?

1) At the next missile crisis, minutes to global nuclear apocalypse, I can see Mr orange hair addressing the world with his deputy alongside, while Musk readies a SpaceX waiting to take all three to Mars, blaming Biden and the Dems for World War 3.

Sorry Fatima. Frankly, this defies any credibility. What kind of person speaks to a media organisation without knowing even just a tiny bit about it?

Had Hitler's rule not ended in Kristallnacht, WW2 and the Holocaust, he might have been viewed more as a strongman who did what was needed to make Germany great again. Trump loving Christians would then be welcoming of comparisons between Trump and Hitler.

The trouble with extreme conservative Christianity is that it does not distinguish between a pro-choice position and pro-abortion. It is possible to be pro-choice but not pro-abortion.

A new social media platform is like a fresh start in life, a breath of fresh air. The slate has been wiped so to speak. How long will the contrition last? I say this a little bit tongue in cheek.
