People believe what they want to believe. My brother found a blobby "sea monster" on a beach, insists it's a plesiosaur. I brought the vertebrae to an icthyologist, he said it's a basking shark....my brother still insists it's a sea monster conspiracy.

True! If I'am correct, we also see the cranium (seemingly twisted) which is also very, very rare.
