I've begun prepping my latest piece for cel-shading!

It's fully rigged, so once I paint the lines on the body I'll consider it done (unless I get distracted animating frow lines). Hopefully I can make it my first upload to artstation!! I'm so excited

I'm a lot happier with my facial topology this time. I think the normal shadows should be pretty good. I've been studying the topology of Cheme Leon on Artstation.

Might be worth adjusting the ovals I have for the rembrandt triangles a bit more though. The lip density is also definitely too dense

When your own weaknesses in make-up are evident in the characters you sculpt.

Straying lipstick? Check
five o'clock shadow due to poor foundation blending? Check
Woogly eyeshadow? Oh certainly a check

On a separate note, I'd LOVE recommendations for books on clothing design so I can study clothes better, especially anything with corsets.

Made some polish updates:
-Diversified the color values
-Made a new dress
-Redid the lines along the nose
-Redid the facial make-up
-Hand painted lines in the hair

The to-dos are unchanged:
-Implement inverted hull
-Texture paint a couple lines of musculature
-Paint three sets of cel textures

Painted my normal shadows, attached is a before with standard rendering, and a lazy cell shaded pass with the custom normals

To do list:
-Implement inverted hull to add an outline
-Texture paint a couple lines of musculature
-Paint standard, shadowed, and highlighted textures
-Do a detail pass

Did another pass on the texture painting and finished up the sculpting.

Next steps:
-Tweak the eyebrows
-Bake the hair strands
-Normal painting

Did the first pass on texturing my latest piece. The ordered to-do list includes:
-Add poly hair
-Make lower lashes
-Consider sculpting some eyeliner
-Sculpt the mask
-Sculpt the wings
-Paint the shadows for cell-shading
