You know, that huge type of book you wouldn't necessarily buy -- but is a glory to keep company with for awhile.

I am going to be in Coventry over the holidays. Been doing some research on the story of Godiva. Guess what? Apparently she was a real woman. Had 9 children, gave a lot of gifts to churches, and her protest was to remove the tax on horses that she felt was unfair! Wow.

My hostess says Hi. She is such a sweetheart.
