Moving the pen again. Evil latex twink corrupted by the amulet, which is basically muscle memory but still. The muscle must be re-trained.

Dipped into more Gilroy while catching up on Andor with MICHAEL CLAYTON (2007) and tbh, What A Picture. The most non-genre thing I’ve watched in ages but all the good stuff’s in there; a razor-sharp script, casually wonderful and skilful composition, Clooney expectantly great. Instant recommend.

Found out Lori Petty was the OG voice of Livewire in the 90s Superman cartoon. Watching her in Tank Girl 1995 a few years ago permanently altered my brain a little, so seeing her here as an egotistical shock-jock grifter goth chick is just delicious. (Need her look for myself if I'm honest)

Wearing Lara's Immortal Guardian armour is making this game even cooler and more flavourful. I had all the cool outdoor workwear but now I'm also like a handsome lady knight doing quests in the Byzantine wilderness. Full plate paired with a compound bow and ice axes looks so cool to me.

Read the first half of 52 this year. Despite all the cool ideas and delightfully 2000s cape camp going on, I was instantly and permanently enamoured with Vic Sage & Renee Montoya. Vic is basically an actual babygirl for me but I'm in love with them both. Their chemistry was so effortlessly good.

Late night memory: as a highschooler I was legit obsessed with 1989/1990s-era Keiichi Morisato from Oh My Goddess & his fashion sense. Pretty sure he's singularly responsible for my odd love of trackpants & tucked-in shirts & big trainers. Years later, I approach my 30s & I'm into this style, again.
