I can definitely see that being in the alternate costume menu, with the option to swap Steve’s hair for his old Dreamcast bangs.

Capcom should give us Chris’s old spiky gel haircut while they’re at it, and Claire’s red ponytail too. 😎 and Wesker, with those bright jpeg yellow cat eyes.

All said & done, I reckon Capcom will be smart & play the scene much more innocently in a Code Veronica Remake, ideally to where Steve doesn’t get a criminal record, or a black eye from Claire 🤣

interesting fact: In the English rewrite for the CV comic, this scene is censored. Claire is given dialogue like she’s awake, even though she’s clearly not. The original version, stays true to the game.

The white text boxes in the original is a narration. Also it reads originally right-to-left.

The trick with the prison prologue I found was to just not carry herbs. You go back to the prison later so you can just pick them up then. Also I just cut straight through to the palace, rather then the training facility, otherwise you really are just screwed with item slots 😅
