Was listening to them a lot yesterday on a train journey down to London. Never a huge amount of knowledge about them but was couldn't believe Marriott was just 44 when he died. 44 FFS!

Some very negative Nelly United fans on here tonight. Give him a couple of transfer windows at least. It's much better than last year. Still has a lot of dross to get rid of.

Never did the podcast but there was a TV documentary about it. The accused was from Manchester I think wasn't he. Odd case. The police were useless from memory.

My Mrs is over Bantry, West Cork as we speak. Visiting family. We go over quite a lot and they might as well be speaking Hindi for all I know. Indecipherable.

Quite a lot of decent ones about that period. The thing I took from it most was how utterly mental every member of the various IRA groups were. Nobody trusted anyone, even comrades. Must have been nervous wrecks.
