I'd have to look it up. The verbiage isn't clear, if I remember correctly.

I know that in Dark Sun (so, 2nd ed.) Gladiators were specifically mentioned as being allowed to specialize in more than one weapon as a class ability, over and above the Fighter.

If I remember correctly single class fighters are allowed to specialize in one weapon, as written.

I allowed fighters to specialize in as many as they had slots for and multi-class fighters, rangers, and paladins could specialize in one weapon. I didn't allow other classes to specialize.
