The format for a long time seems to be
1: Offensive-Defensive
2: Offensive-Defensive
3: Defensive/PKer/Toughness
If you're not stay-at-home, tough or a penalty killer, you don't get much rope on the 3rd pair.

It's a bit early to see much effect on a 15 game rolling average. Their last 3 games are their 2nd, 3rd and 4th best CF% performances of the year so far. Samberg fixes Pionk, Stanley over Fleury helps too, despite Schenn's lingering presence on the 3rd pair.

They mentioned in the budget that they'd lower the age for early retirement, so I'd guess this will be almost all voluntary.

Have you tried Krave? Cap'n Crunch form factor but filled with some kind of chocolate analog...probably DuPont DethGel, but whatever. It would be an interesting variation on this.
