I cancelled my subscription to the Los Angeles Times at the same time. If the owner stays out of its editorial page and other coverage, I may renew it (it was paid up through March). It is a pathetic newspaper, but it is local.

I am so glad that some months ago I cancelled my subscription to the Washington Post. Usually owners do not interfere with editorial decisions. If The NY Times falls, I will no longer be subscribing to a national newspaper. This is sad and scary
