38 year old dad of 2; film graduate; Livi, Spurs & Jags fan. Expect mostly sports, ranting or rambling with the occasional film opinion thrown in.
Also, get VAR in the bin.

Even with a review, he can see the handball but not the blatant shove that causes it?

I'd rather have the ref get it wrong on the field and stand by his decision than some incompetent fuckwit in a studio re-referee game and still get it wrong.

Offensively, we started very well - strong pressing and two good finishes which were unfortunately let down again by slack defending.

If we can start staying alert at the back, particularly at either of the half and after scoring, there may be hope for us.

Solid, up until the better players brought off. Wonder who Davie is going to blame for failing to pick up points this week.

Can't be the officials.
Shouldn't be the players he brought off.

Shocking start but overall not a bad performance. Pressing from the front was much better than last week.

Finlayson takes a lot of stick at times but, apart from the final ball at the end last week, he's been decent cover at centre back.

Sylla MotM for me, showed just how much we've missed him in the centre of the park these last couple of weeks.

Need to start picking up points soon though before we're rooted to the bottom with little chance of staying up; staying switched on for the whole game would be a start.

Played well, up to a point. Really soft penalty given away and then just stopped bothering with a few minutes to go yet again.

Would like to have seen us start with May up top to pressure their keeper with Carey or Lawal on the left. Finlayson was ok at centre back, going forward less so.

We're absolutely lost without McGowan at the back and Smith to drive us forward.

"No divine right to win games" should apply to every team; at the moment we're handing points out to just about everybody.

Accidentally forgot to lift my Kobo this morning for my usual break/lunchtime reading.

This is going to be a looooong day

That's a really hard one to take, especially with a makeshift defence and a last minute goal conceded. Excellent save from Prior at the penalty and can see why he was given MotM but Sylla was our best player for me.

Oooft. That's some second half they've had in Turin! 0-0 at the break, 4-4 at full time.

*Potential Spoiler Alert*

I've been re-reading the #ThursdayMurderClub books in anticipation of the release of book five.

Watched the film on Netflix. It was alright, although I still think Ray Winston would have made a better Ron. Good casting otherwise.

That being said - #JusticeForBogdan

Made a film recommendation to a colleague last week after a lengthy cinema trip on Wednesday - arrived today and was met with "You were right! That was a really good film!"

Insanely jealous of every fan who was able to make the trip up, my old man especially, but watching it at home with the wee lad has made up for it - I think between us we could be heard at the end of the street when Yengi got the fourth 🤣

YASSSSSSSSSSS! What a fightback after a very sloppy start. Four well taken goals, the first from Lewis Smith the best by far for me - especially coming when we desperately needed a goal.
May 26, 2025 at 9:27 PM
Feel robbed after watching us play so well for large parts of the game. Would love to see our penalty shout that saw Smith booked again.

Need to be more clinical & better with decision-making in front of goal though; we had enough chances to take a comfortable lead up Dingwall.

YASSSSSSSSSSS! Super Livi #BoingBoing

Two more cup finals to go! Solid team performance and got better as the game wore on.

Shocking officiating aside, we've played better than that this season. Unfortunate goal to concede and just as unlucky with the chances we made.

Credit to the players for bringing it to the final game though; need to pick themselves up for the playoffs.

Big, big win. Outstanding first half and could have had more. Kelly was fantastic in the middle of the park, taking his two goals well, and worthy of the sponsor's MotM.

Oooft. What a win! Absolutely outstanding from the whole side.

Missed the first 10 minutes (well had it on my phone) due to only a single turnstile being open but ended up in the VIP seats 😂

Worth it to see us lift a trophy and for the look on the wee man's face 💛🖤🦁

Unfortunate defeat; only a stunning strike could get past Prior. Really needed to take our chances in the first half; could have done with a striker in January.

Encouraging in the first half though.
March 10, 2025 at 9:47 PM
Riveting stuff tonight. Feel a bit sorry for Fraser; if anyone should have been brought off on the left side it should have been Montano (two fluffed crosses in the first half then blazing shot over in the second half).

Highlight - steak and blaggis pie. Can we get these again?
March 5, 2025 at 10:25 PM
Stole a point, given we didn't turn up until 20 minutes to go. Can't even blame the awful state of the pitch or the amateur refereeing tonight (soft free kicks/unnecessary yellows).

3 games in 6 days took its toll and changing shape early on put us on the back foot early on.
February 28, 2025 at 9:56 PM
Played some really good football for large spells but tended to switch off on occasion, allowing Morton in and resulting in a scoreline a lot closer than it should have been.

The referee losing the plot with about ten minutes left to go didn't help.
