We used to have leaders who spoke like this. People would hold people who lie to account. Now it seems that politics is just business and an excellent example of the Peter Principle in real life. People who shouldn’t be elected as hall monitors are now our “leaders”. We need more good trouble.

IF corporations truly have 1st Amendment rights, then I’m not convinced that states can limit those “rights” through charters. In addition, most corporations can be incorporated in almost any state, and I can’t see states like South Carolina or North Dakota agreeing to this limitation. A panacea.
