Back when girl students in elementary school were required to wear dresses, some boys in my 3rd grade decided to chase girls to lift up their skirts--a smart mom armed her daughter a bottle of perfume; when the boys chased her, she chased them with perfume spray. Spray ICE!

During the civil war diseases were killing soldiers, Small Pox, was a leader of death. Pres. Lincoln. the true leader, realized that a small pox vax could be good. for him and his family. The vax helped to save the US. Now, MAGA states reject the vax again and the Union states are embracing.

When I was a kid 60 years ago, science, art, music, earth, and poetry, well, music! too, were the core of a shared existence . . . now: MAGA. The Death Cult. I pray every day. But, when I was a kid, there was Coen, Nixon, Stalin, Hoover, Wallace . . . be the light!

What is vision? Just seeing what things the powers that be want us to see? Maybe, we as we were born to be can see what is our own meaning and destiny, the one that originates from within rather than from the whip from outside of ourselves. See. Perhaps we can smile too-inwardly and outwardly.

I spent time as a young man living and working in southern Idaho: 14 year old girls were expected to be married and pregnant, if you were a mom and not a gramma at 29 yrs old you were a failure--also, adultery was rampant . . . go go go GOP. Er, Stop!

Reality breaks down into two basic existences, the profane existence which includes politics, social status, nationalism, and a host of other dusty and moldy things; and then there is the Holy or Sacred existence which does't need any explanation because it tells us what we know: goodness works.

Not that long ago, before it was deemed to be a civil crime, debt was a criminal crime and resulted in prison terms, those days are near again. MAGA wants to make poverty illegal again, the BBB (KKK) Bill (?) just passed is proof. Medical debt is no longer forgiven, slavery exists.

How has ugliness and gracelessness creeped into out existence so dominantly? I find it strange and objectionable as well as creepy. Sort of like being a parent of fine and innocent but curious children and then a mobster moves in next door . . . what in God's name do I do? And there's a door knock.
