That’s a good point indeed. After we can potentially argue that they did get a fair amount of enjoyable time out of it, if the problem is a change of gameplay midway through. But still, reviews like “this game is a miserable experience” with 149 hours are something weird

I especially love the 60+ hours negative reviews. Who has the time to be miserable for so long?

How is it that I’ve been following you all year on Bluesky and added 150 games to my wishlist as a result…. And yet I find new ones on this list! Incredible.

So gog and “the cyberpunk creators” were sister firms, technically. Now what happens is one of the original founders of CDP is going to take gog independently from CDP

I see the article and lot of comments are confusing CDP and CDP:R. CDProjekt is a Polish publisher created in 1994. Mostly they specialised in bringing pc games on the Polish market, providing translation by themselves when it would be missing. CDP created gog and CDP:Red.

Amazing game, had to force myself to stop it for a while to not burn myself out before it is content complete. Also Chris Park is a machine, it’s almost concerning the amount of regular content he churns out in his own. Really hoping it turns out to be a commercial success, it would be well deserved

I always found fascinating how there’s gamers who basically only play the latest FIFA, COD, GTA, AC Fortnite or earlier CS. Like entire share of the market just going for yearly super-productions, who have no clue about anything else. And myself I barely played those AAA. A complete other world

Does it have windows? The defenestration trilogy could use a spinoff :P

Deck builder is a good comparison indeed. With borderline abusive decks like the wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/55_Monk

And dual class, so you can synergise in interesting ways. I remember my ranger/mesmer had a lot of condition-applying arrows, and one mesmer skill, epidemic, to spread conditions to the foes adjacent to the target. Fun times

Funny, I came here to comment that fans of that genre seem to have high resistance to jank, given the fact that E.Y.E ultimately got some cult following

Indeed that’s definitely not the suggested steam pricing (see all currencies there: steamdb.info/app/3580160/)

Move or die is also a well made party game, they took their single player game idea to move all the time and turned it into this, and it’s visible they thought it through when it comes to its organization (including respecting the amount of time you set for a game by playing around with points)

And that’s already a bit of a “MMO” compromise compared to the first one where you hit max level (20) in like 15 hours (and less than 5 for characters created in the expansions, where you were basically level 20 at the end of the tutorial area) and played the rest of the game at max level.

Yay for a generation raised on “games as a service” and the few “eternal dev” indie superstars (terraria, stardew, minecraft, etc)

While there has definitely been more spendings, it’s the wishlist that took the biggest hit and grew from about 400 to 660 since the beginning often year 😅

I somehow heard of super robot wars for the first time with you talking about this game. How did I somehow miss there was a strategy game with a mashup of so many mechas, when it seems to go as far as the GB 😮 looks like a turn by turn tactics but every attack plays over the top dynamic animations?

Oh, so like “Running with rifles” in a way? The feeling of being just one single soldier in the middle of the conflict is great in that one.

Then again I only watched first season prior to that, maybe it’s less of a shock for people who watched the rest
October 10, 2025 at 2:35 PM
Oh I recommend you check the trailer of the season. The poster is showing but a sprinkle of the insanity

As someone who has notifications on your Bluesky to discover nice games, I currently have a backlog of 30 posts to get back to when I have time, sounds like a good month indeed :P

I recommend going with the flow: store.steampowered.com/bundle/57999... Great tiny bundle, both games are great for just zoning out and enjoy the virtual wind in your face. And the rocks and trees, yes, but it’s still relaxed.

And that’s when I remember that I went the less claustrophobic way back in the day and played more Descent: Freespace than the original Descent and descendants. Never played Forsaken, so I did not have the reference
