I promise you, as someone who has worked on large scale budgets, they are not looking in the right places to free up real spending.

Not to say that that’s not a lot of money (individually it’s unfathomable) but on the scale of the federal government it’s not a lot of money. DOGE also doesn’t seem to multiply findings by 1000 so even then, take it with a grain of salt. They aren’t being as transparent as they claim.
