My opinion of LotR is similar to The Ramones and Citizen Cain. Without these things we wouldn't have a lot of the stuff that I really enjoy, but since then we've built much more interesting things from those foundations. I'm glad LotR exists, but it's not nearly as interesting as what's come since.

I grew out of showy hairstyles. It's not that I lost my hair, I just lost interest in putting so much effort into my appearance. But that's about it.
