12/ GLAN Senior lawyer, Dearbhla Minogue said: "We welcome the fact that the gov has been compelled to reconsider this F-35 "carve-out". The position they took is ... legally untenable & we hope they will stop the transfer of any British weapons for use by Israel against Palestinians."

11/ Shawan Jabrin, Director of Al Haq said: “Every day our people are being killed by F-35’s in Gaza. Refugee camps packed with displaced families, the elderly, the sick, & children are being bombed by F-35s, so-called ‘safe zones’ ...The UK has int'l obligations to stop"

10/ 2) David Lammy stated in Parliament that Gaza was not a genocide as millions have not yet died. As a lawyer he distorted the definition of genocide to sidestep a clear legal duty to prevent it and to enforce a total arms embargo.

9/ We are keeping the pressure up. We have expanded our existing legal action because: 1) The UK has refused to state its red lines for halting arms exports to Israel. This is despite famine & expulsions on encircled civilians. The situation in Northern Gaza is apocalyptic.

8/ What’s next? The UK government has now said it is reviewing its decision on F-35 components following our legal intervention. This is a critical step, but far from the comprehensive action needed to stop UK complicity. Press release is here: www.glanlaw.org/single-post/...
UK Government Forced to Make New Decision on F-35 Exports
The UK forced to review exports of F-35 warplane components after admitting Israel “not committed to complying” with international law.
