Ah, my Thanksgiving was pleasant up until my Mother and brother brought up Trump and the Fox News talking points. Mom was particularly enjoying attacking Mamdani, (cause racism). I shot down the lies and she got huffy. Pass the cranberry sauce. Not enough wine.

I wasn't afraid of protesting today until Speaker Johnson came out and labeled me a terrorist. I'm uneasy but resolved in my right to peacefully assemble and protest a tyrannical government while I still can.
