I teach guitar, create YouTube guitar lesson videos, write guitar books, and ride my bike. That's pretty much it.

For some reason, my video didn't make it into my previous post. Balloons…lots of them.

A few photos and a short video from Balloon Fiesta this morning.

Today's ride was eventful! Another cyclist had a flat tire but no pump. This CycPlus compressor filled his tire in about 60 seconds. Then I found a driver's license in the road. I picked it up and dropped it off at my local MVD on the way home. I sure hope Santa was watching me today. (ha ha)

Today's main goal was to have a good bike ride and to take pictures of flowers. Mission accomplished.

Grocery shopping is more fun on a bike. I don't always take the most direct route to the store.

The weather was perfect for a bike ride. I bought a small monocular to spy on wildlife. I was thinking that it would be really cool to have something that zoomed in and would allow me to take a picture, when I remembered that they make a thing called a "camera."

Not a fetish! I turn off all electrical hums when I record videos, including the fridge. Last recording session, I accidentally left the fridge off for over 12 hours. A bag of frozen strawberries melted and then refroze into one giant strawberry. Never again (at least until the next time).

I'm not above scavenging on my rides. I thought I hit the jackpot here, only to discover that this was a child's chair. I could maybe fit one cheek on this Scooby Doo chair.

This is kind of fun! I just discovered that I can share a "flyover" style video of my ride. I got some good miles in, but this sure was a windy ride. Although most of the route was flat, I spent a good chunk of time in an easier climbing gear to contend with a headwind and crosswinds.

Three tricks you can use with diminished 7 chords. These take advantage of the symmetry of the diminished 7 and relationship between the diminished 7, dominant 7, and 7b9 chords.

The neighborhood road runner – a little blurry because it's hard to get a good picture with the zoom on my phone (and the bird wasn't exactly standing still). Not the longest ride today, but the weather sure was nice. I think the high was 80 today.
