I have four apple trees that line the side of my fence. A gala, Fuji, and 2 honeycrisp. This year, they produced more apples than I could eat or give away. My neighbor took the last few and made an apple crisp. Just brought us a sample. I feel very lucky to have amazing neighbors that I care about.

Went for a hike in the McKay Forest today. I was born here, I live here, I will die here. California may be expensive, but I will gladly have less things and pay for my 975 sq foot home (I’m sure my mortgage would buy twice the house in Louisiana) and breathe clean air than live anywhere else!
