The first summer in the Muskoka's lake for my grandson.
His mom loved the cottage and now she gets to share it with her child and my son gets to experience it along with them.

My grandson in cottage country. We all started out as wide eyed innocents. Underneath all the layers of discontent and hardening we still have that wide eyed child inside of us, if not so innocent anymore.

Eight years ago a Syrian refugee family landed in Nova Scotia and started a business making and selling chocolate. Look at all the jobs they created. Sometimes the refugee successes are not as large but this one? Everyone loves good chocolate!

I did a thing. No knead rustic bread! It was easy and delicious. Made with organic flour. Flour, yeast, salt and water. Simple ingredients for the win!
