How this works! I have a CD collection, and I'll post whatever album I've listened to and a little about it! I'll include album name, artist name, if they're on Spotify, and a little about how I feel on it!
Guts, Olivia Rodrigo, 2023, on spotify. You can say what you want abt her but i think there needs to be more vaguely grunge music for like teen girls. never doubt the catharsis screaming bad idea in your car at 1 in the morning can bring.

Savage Garden by Savage Garden, 1997, on spotify. I only got this bc I told my gf to pick an album for me and apparently these guys did the outro for neon genesis evangelion. Its fun, like techno ballads, but I dont think its for me really lol.

What kind of man would I be, Mint Condition, 1996. Another where, while this specific version is not on spotify, the song definitely is. Its What kind of Man Would I be? by Mint Condition! And then the instrumental version!

crazytown, butterfly, 2000. While this specifically is not on spotify, I would imagine that all the songs are. Its butterfly by crazytown! and 4 different remixes!

Sundays at Foxqoods by boys like girls, 2023 on spotify. To quote my dear wife "I didnt know they made white boys like this anymore!" it is. sad white boy music. and I dont really like it, so. yeah. if you enjoy it, then im happy for you :)

Rancid, Indestructible, 2003, on spotify. Got this secondhand and its homemade, but the album cover is for out come the wolves, which is neat. Pretty fun punk rock, some of the music reminds me of my steampunk phase (yes I had one). but I do like it! its pretty good!

LE SSERAFIM Easy, 2024 on spotify. How i got this album is super funny bc I was buying another album and the guy at checkout said "hey you want this?" and it was 2 kpop albums lol. but onto the actual music! I loved it lol, I thought it was really fun, 2 of the 5 songs made it onto my playlist lol
May 31, 2025 at 4:51 PM
so im a little back in my kpop phase... anyways. I Feel by I-dle ((G)I-dle at the time), released in 2023 and on spotify. I love all this album, and think its really fun how they grew! I listened to them back when they released Senorita which was in 2019 lol. I really like this album lol
May 31, 2025 at 4:45 PM
well Im back again... Today's album: III by Guy. published in 2000, on spotify. r&b, fun, I like to listen to it when im just relaxing/doing nothing bc I think the base is really nice to just kinda dose off to. its fun!

today's album is Innocence and Instinct by Red. Its on spotify, released in 2009! It definitely sounds like it was released kn 2009, sorta sounds like 30 seconds to mars. Just very classic early 2000s alternative!
(+ a little personal note in replies)

today's album: Save Rock and Roll by Fall Out Boy, 2013, on spotify. This album has always had a special place in my heart, I watched the YouTube video series a lot when i was like 9. honestly iconic features of Courtney Love, Elton John, and Big Sean. also makes me think of fandom edits lol.

Today's (yesterdays) album: Man of Colors by Icehouse, 1987, on spotify. I did not like this album that much :/ it is indeed a late 80s ballad album, but I'm just not that into it. And keep in mind this is coming from someone who was obsessed with erasure and enya as a kid.

Today's album: Floored by Sugar Ray, 1997, on spotify. Boy oh boy, the 90s. This album grabbed me by the hair, shoved me in a pair of jnco jeans, forcibly frosted my tips, and put me in a mall with a chain wallet and a classic monster energy drink.

Todays album: Cry Cry Cry by Cry Cry Cry, 1998 on spotify. Oh folk music my beloved. A collection of covers by a supergroup (defined by wiki as a musical group formed by already successful artists) more religious than I anticipated, but better than most religious music Ive had to listen to (1/2)
February 27, 2025 at 4:28 PM
today's album: Walk the Plank by Pirates of the Mississippi, 1991, on spotify. Jimmy Buffet could never. Fun vibes, considered country by Wikipedia, on the top country albums billboard in the US at spot 39 during 1991. Fun album, not a lot to say about it. Too much is definitely my favorite :)

Today's (and yesterdays) album: Hadestown: The Myth, The Musical, 2017, on spotify. The version I like/listen to is the original, live recorded. I could talk about Orpheus and Eurydice for hours. I think this Hermes is better than the Broadway recording Hermes, and overall, just think this (1/?)

Today's album! Top of the World, by The Scottsville Clown Band, 1993, not on spotify. This is exactly what it says on the tin. Looked it up, and this band has been active since 1903, just a band dressed as clowns. It is a cover band, so I attached the track list. I'll upload it eventually.

Today's album! Mono. by RM, 2018, on spotify. I was super into BTS, so I'm a little biased (ha) but I love RM's music so much. This album is definitely one of my favorite albums of all time <3
February 20, 2025 at 11:28 PM
Today's album! Pump up the Valuum by NOFX, 2000, on spotify. Pop Punk, emphasis on the punk. Reminds me of you're gonna go far kid by the offspring, but specifically the nightmare version lol. I liked them, they'll probably go into my study music rotation for my fried adhd brain :)
February 19, 2025 at 8:23 PM
Today's album! Let's Buzz by The Paladins, 1988, on spotify. Classic rock with a bit of a 50s influence, fun but ultimately not for me.
February 18, 2025 at 8:10 PM
a third album! Cult Following by Irontom, 2020, on spotify. These guys were one of my very first concerts, in like... 2016. Rock, a little something else. Almost showy? very much made to be heard from a stage, if that makes sense. I'd definitely recommend checking them out.
February 16, 2025 at 6:31 AM
Another album! The Coral by The Coral, 2002, on spotify. Sorta like if the beetles and the mountain goats had a baby... more of a peppy grunge, a bit folksy too. I liked it, not a favorite, though.
February 16, 2025 at 6:25 AM
Today's album! Technology Doesn't Stop the Imp Next Door, 1997. not on spotify or YouTube. I'll make a YouTube and upload it... later lol. Noise core. If a single analog horror or arg creator got their hands on this it'd go so hard.
February 15, 2025 at 10:58 PM
Today's album! Science Faire by The Apples in Stereo, 1996, on spotify. Makes me think of baking cookies late at night, also very good for air instrumentals. nice driving music. 90s grunge/indie, almost bedroom pop? idk that could just be me. Happy Valentines Day!

Todays album! Gay.com (currently redirects to a LGBT news site based in LA, once a collection of gay celebrities and news and hookups) Multiple artists, released summer of 2004. George Michael, what should be club classics, OG Bitch! nothing compares to hearing that for this for the first time (1/?)
