The weather map is much improved, you can scroll through the radar forecast without wearing out your fingertip now! Still unusable in landscape mode due to the size of UI elements on a phone, but that's less of an issue.

Just a heads up, they've actually fixed the scrolling on the radar map now, it's not quite as nice as it used to be, but it's a million times better than it was.

They've actually fixed this now, so fair play to them. It's not quite as nice as it used to be, but it's much more usable.

I'll go out and see if the clouds turn green 😂

Force ads into all the gen AI stuff too. Involuntary product placements. Unavoidable Coke cans in your expertly prompted masterpiece. At least one verse of your Suno banger singing about New Persil Automatic.

Popups for the latest mobile game in your vibe-coded app.

It's awful! The main reason I used it was for the radar map, and now it takes forever to scroll through the frames. You used to be able to whiz through the 5 day forecast with one or 2 swipes, now I'm not kidding, it takes 87 swipes!

Also, if you put the map in landscape mode on a normal sized phone the UI elements cover the whole map! Perhaps this works on a tablet?

Really dislike what's been done to the weather map. The slider for the radar used to have a sense of momentum and great vibration feedback, now it literally takes 87 swipes to scroll through the 5 day forecast. It used to take just 1 swipe!

Really puts into perspective how lucky I was to get this lot!

Yeah I assumed it was something like that, you'd think it would make sense to just render the hair differently if it can't handle it. I'd prefer old fashioned polygonal hair over that weird fuzzy look!

What's the deal with the hair in all these Switch 2 ports? Surely there's a better solution than just making it look all fuzzy?

Yeah, I gave my OLED to my daughter when I got the Switch 2 and I feel sad every time I catch a glimpse of the screen through the coating of grease and crumbs that covers it...

What's that, a curried watermelon?

If you can find a place in the UK tonight without cloud cover you'll be doing well 😂

It's sad when a brighter grey is genuinely uplifting...
