Finally cooled off so I made 3 bean chili from the recipe Chris found and made for me when I was going thru cancer treatment. Loaded with veggies that he diced super small so I could have it with my ileostomy. I’ve only made it once since he died.

Some “old school” anti-fascists. My grandfather (top left), his 3 brothers and my uncle. My grandpa & his brothers were the largest family of boys deployed at the same time from NE if I remember correctly. Harold was lost in a plane crash at sea searching for U-boats.
