The Autumn 2024 Issue of Panoply literary zine includes my Fibonacci poem, "Mourning".

Fibonacci poems are based on the mathematical sequence named after an Italian although the sequence was first described by Indian mathematicians a millennia earlier.

WW II started only 21 years after WW I ended. The world had changed, but not much relative to the drastic differences that occurred in the past 8+ decades.
 
So people warn about WW III brinkmanship without recognizing that it has 𝒂𝒍𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒚 started. Global conflict just looks 𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚 different, now.

If you spend decades kvetching about protesters against #apartheid (calling them terrorists) and use that as an excuse to inflict #genocide and #EthnicCleansing, you've no right to complain when victims of your atrocities actually do fight back
