Some Heisei Nishiki and Kikusui koi fish we bred years back. Heisei Nishiki is the scaleless variant of the Yamato Nishiki, which itself is a metallic variant of the famous Taisho Sanshoku. So the Heisei Nishiki is a scaleless metallic Taisho Sanshoku.

A juvenile zebra plecostomus (Hypancistrus zebra) we bred a few years back. Contrary to popular belief, these fish are quite hardy, and not particularly sensitive or difficult to keep. The F1s and beyond do not require a particular PH or very high temperatures to breed or stay healthy.

A group of the original 3 Japanese rice fish or medaka colors introduced to the aquarium market. The medaka shown here are stock obtained directly from Japan from the Suda Koi Farm in Niigata. One of the most popular fish in Japan, this hardy species is great for both aquariums and small ponds.

A group of juvenile Kikusui koi fish bred this year. This breed is essentially a scaleless (doitsu) and metallic variant of the more famous Kohaku, though their patterns tend to be a bit more unstable as they age.

Here is an odd juvenile koi fish with a transparent skin mutation that was born from a Kikusui. What is even stranger is that this fish is not metallic despite being bred from a metallic bloodline.
