Totally agree with you. They think it’s all happening to Bannan not for Bannan. His representatives want Wednesday to cancel his contract and it seems he will go on strike if they don’t as he’s said that was his last game. To me it’s tarnishing his reputation a tad, just sad really

No one could have foreseen what transpired with us, no matter how many ‘I told you so’ from the hindsight brigade. He seemed able and did invest many millions and was a rich man from a very very wealthy family. Issue turned out he splashed the cash on visible stuff but none on infrastructure

He will be better than whoever you’ve got once he plays you will see why he was consistently the best player on the pitch - not just Wednesdays as that wasn’t hard to be - for the last few months with us.

It couldn’t be worse than how bad it was in the summer so it has to be 1. Good luck to him if he gets anything longer than a 6 months contract as he deserves a decent payoff and finish to his career. What an honourable man he is.

The Netherlands is potentially a total ban on consumer fireworks which is really the only way if you want it stopped. Age restrictions never work unfortunately. I do get it’s a step in the right direction if there is a reduction but I’ve not seen any evidence where I live.

How will it be enforced? It’s bluster to sound good but ridiculous to police. And what is the definition of social media? TikTok? Kinzoo? Facebook? Twitter? Roblox as that has a social element? You can’t stop u16s getting hold of fireworks where you have to be 18 so it simply won’t happen.

Must admit I enjoyed L1 last time! It’s going to watch thinking we are going to win which for the most part we did. May have to get a team first this time though

I just wonder who listens to them other than the usual 6 callers in their own echo chamber as it’s basically the same crap every night - or was when I stopped. Anyone new got ridiculed for having an alternative opinion so they dried up.

….academy wise we can never compete with Premier League academies as we only get the left overs. Didn’t Amass get stolen off QPR or someone? Premier clubs just take what they want to make a few bob. We will lose any that look good enough to sell on.

They don’t sicken me but I think you are right in that as part of this take-over we could do with a full reset. I think only that will give the new owners time due to the notoriously fickle wednesdayites who find any excuse to turn on them. Have done ever since 2017.

We haven’t even got any owners to influence so why do they start shit now? Me and you Paul disagree politely on stuff occasionally but we do have more in common especially this!!!

I think the word is significantly. We currently have only 1 player who regularly played last season and his little legs must be wearing out playing virtually every minute, which he didn’t have to do last year.

There were 5 players between the ball and where Iorfa lost it on the halfway line. But I think Cooper was feeling his injury by then anyway, but it is what comes with hardly any minutes. Up until they scored they were nowhere near our goal
