FYI my usual cruising speed with driver is around 93mph, give or take a couple depending on factors such as gym routine etc.
My goal for 2025 is to get my crusing speed to 100mph!

2025 lesson #2 today. Looking forward to improving my direction.
Since the first lesson the quality of strike has improved in terms of impact height (less fat shots) but I'm still mostly hitting out of the heel and I'm struggling with big hooks.
However, putting practice is paying off!

Handicap has blown out by 2 shots in the last 3 rounds. Played off 16 yesterday and finished on 37 points despite not feeling like I played great.
Ball striking is much improved, directionally much better compared to last week but not ideal.

I've been living in the high heel section of all clubs. Haven't seen the middle of the clubface for months. I've lost distance and it was so consistent I thought it was swing speed related

Public golf course in the east of Perth, not far from the Great Eastern Highway. I'm not going to sugarcoat it, that highway is the best thing about this golf course. Didn't enjoy a minute of being there, today.

Swing speed update:
Not seeing much progress, I haven't hit a PB with any of the speed sticks for about 5 sessions
I'm training 3x a week in the gym using the Fit For Golf app plus 2x cardio
I'll keep working hard, hopefully turn a corner soon 🙏 #golf #golfsky #perthgolf

TGL final thoughts
It's close to being a really good product. I think it will improve significantly by the 2nd season but I feel I might be in a minority here 🤷♂️

What a gem! Very pretty, semi-private club north of Perth. Interesting design, variety of hole types and well maintained. Slick greens, bunkers and tee boxes in good condition, too.

You know it's a ballsy shot if you ask your mate to film it. How often do they come off? One in ten? One in a hundred? This was a 60 yard mega fade, off the back foot with a compromised stance, over water to a green guarded by a bunker on the left. Sound up

Looking forward to getting started with my SuperSpeed golf training system later. I think I'll do a mobility workout and a few swings to get me loosened up.
I'm sure all of the food and drink hasn't helped my swing speed this week 😅 will post the results later!
