When they localized Super League and it became Tommy Lasorda Baseball, I can understand localizing teams and leagues, voices, etc. But why the news reporter at the end of each game?
I’m all for world records but when it’s like ‘this is the record for most Aim toothpaste eaten out of a caulking gun on a Thursday at an IHOP’ what are you even doing
I don’t know if it’s the same cats, but some cats are going at it again and they are loud. Are they near here? Can’t tell due to the echo. I wish I could type ‘fuck quieter’ into google translate and it would spit back meows to tell them as much
I'm on the first regular episode of s3 and man. This feels like it's 8700000 minutes long. There's just something about the pacing and production that makes this feel like a slog. I'll get through them eventually, but I forgot about this dipshit missile guy who yells "bang" and laughs all the time.
It's like... GI Joe, but with the production values of a random european cartoon on 1984 Nickelodeon or something. It's hard to explain but watching them back to back really made it apparent.
Okay, so I watched the five-parter that leads into s3. Cobra Commander getting his body back and turning Serpentor into an iguana is really great, but the rest of it... it sounds like it was recorded in a library or a church, super quiet with little inflection or background noise. Idk man
"But he talks shit online to the other guy!" One of those guys is bad enough, and who cares about zingers if they're coming from another shitty guy anyway.
Got my new glasses and they're so low-rent that they didn't come in a case. The guy handed me a little sock like you'd collect shells at the beach or something like, "here you go." But when I put them on, I can see, so that's all that matters.
I guess it goes s1-2, then the movie, then s3-4? Anyway, the movie is kinda silly with the snake people stuff but that intro gets your ass hyped to watch some GI Joe, that's for sure. www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Ah2...
Finally at the end of s2. The second to last episode with Slipstream and the Night Raven pilot was pretty good, probably the show's equivalent of issue 34 of the comic. All in all, season 2: too much wetsuit/leatherneck bromance, not enough Snake-Eyes. Quick Kick was in one episode. Like what?
