12 years ago. This was a track premiere Cara Neir had on Pitchfork. One of the best songs in my catalogue still. Candiria meets black metal was a cool shout in the review. They’ve always had an imprint on me. My personal approach was a BM Envy/Funeral Diner vibe.

Packed 50/100 Mossbane Lantern LPs so far. Making progress considering the ETA was Wednesday instead of this past Saturday. Will make my days I took off at end of week fully ready for the new Gonemage album, vinyl and all.

I’ve wondered what motivated the title myself lol. I think it’s just a very fitting title to the concept of the album though. My fav of theirs by far and a top 5 BM album for me. It’s really good industrial BM but not in the oontz oontz sense. Weird metallic noises, ultra sharp riffing/production

Made in 3 weeks of Oct - Nov 2024. The ideal Gonemage. Symphonic BM with 16-bit synth backline. Lot of influences: Arcturus, Abigor’s Fractal Possession, Covenant, Sigh, Dodheimsgard, Ulver, Yellow Magic Orchestra, early Final Fantasy OSTs.

1 of my fav parts. Mixed a Sega with SNES for arpeggios.
