More cyberpunk stuff should print out pixel dithering on books and comics. It's simply beautiful.

I've tried to draw this kettle using as few charcoal strokes as possible. There's still a lot to improve, but it was a nice study.

Stuff went wrong these last days. My computer broke the day I would finish a brand manual and have a meeting with a great client (super sorry @manarampmatt.bsky.social 🥲) ...

But at least my father is back home from ICU and I had some time to draw.

Paul Pope's Batman Yeah 100 was the comic that changed my taste forever. Before it I was the usual Alex Ross-photorealism-normie-fan boy. After year 100 I was forever disabled to have normal talk with friends regarding comics. I was officially an "oh... that guy" weirdo.

Lately I've been more and more interested in the dreamlike feeling that arise from absolutely mundane moments in life. That second time seems to stop and you think "this shouldn't be real life". Everyday surrealisms on the small things.

I want to see art with this exact energy on RPGs and analog games. These screaming silences, these nightmarish tensions.

Everyone should enroll into a Masters program. Research and academic experience brings so many rich ideas. It's like a book club where all the members are super committed and all the texts are super complex and mind bending.

Collagraphs

These hit all the right buttons or me. It's the right amount of punk and textures perfectly balanced. When I think of celebrating TTRPGs I think of it beyond the game sessions. I dream of people who are not into RPGs buying RPG art on expositions. For that we need to be bolder.

Tetrapak print

Speaking of print, have you seen these ones made with tetra pak packages? The final thing is so beautiful and poetic.

Gel printing

This one is so accessible and always looks so alive. It can blend collage, painting and vibes into very vibrant pieces of art. I can see it as mood illustrations for places in a setting or even a bestiary.

Fabric maps

I really don't know how this is not a thing yet.

Beside being a UNIQUE map and handout, it can be sold as framed art on Etsy generating a good income... And it's therapeutic after all.
