This particular client, through fierce self-advocacy and refusal to take “there’s nothing we can do for you, sorry” as an answer, was able to get the meds she needed.

Her mental health symptoms are visibly improved and it hasn’t even been a month. Now she’s in a place where therapy can work.

Is this a new audio drama that will rip my heart out and stomp on it while also giving me faith in humanity? (I love those, but they're hard to find!)

We could have told you you were bi way sooner if we’d known 😜

I mean, isn't that normal? All your videos *look* like they're going to be about Abi Thorn being unreasonably attractive, again, and then end up being deep dives into life's hardest questions that usually result in me sliding a little further to the left (and getting a little gayer). Again. 😜

What time period? Stays are an excellent choice for learning to love the inherent violence of sewing — and the fun of tedium if you opt to floss the boning or hand-sew the eyelets. (My first love is historical costuming, and making unnecessary work for myself is my personal brand at this point lol)

Ive not done this exactly, but I’ve patched socks using the pick-up-stitch cast on/stockinette seaming stitch “cast off” method before, when the hole is on the ball of the foot and traditional darning would be awkwardly bulky/feel weird. If you try it and run into trouble, feel free to DM me.

Which means you can pull it out without unraveling the other segments. Then you can pick up cast on and knit in the replacement part.

You’d just knit a sock like normal, except at the boundary between each part (between toe and body, between body and heel, between heel and leg/cuff) you’d cast off, then do a pick-up cast-on to start the next segment. Each one is a separate length of yarn

You’ll know when you’ve become an advanced sewist about the third time you end up fighting god in order to make your own garment/accessory/bedding/furnishing and enjoy the project all the more for it 😂

You must first appease the creature by throwing the ball/stick/frisbee/large ish piece of mulch he brings you 3-10 times. But he will then lay still enough for boops, and likely roll over for belly rubs.

Pretty sure at least some of it was a recurrence of one of the dormant viruses in my body— I’d run out of my antivirals and noticed a major uptick in energy after getting back on them! I’m long overdue a visit to the patio, though. Puppy playdate perhaps?

I really like the feeds options for finding new accounts to follow! Pick an interest, there’s a feed for that!

And the autistic people with high support needs who are unable to work/live/engage independently are ALSO valuable members of our communities!

Nothing about us without us-- and a reminder to my fellow autists who can self advocate, we need to be the voice of our spectrum siblings who can't.

Wait, is there something we're supposed to be looking at? All I see is the floor, a rug, a window, and some curtains...
