Wow. Three draft apologies. Not one of them mentions the victims, though he does apologise "to the parents" in one. It's a nasty, nasty entitled world up there at the top of the business hierarchy.

Oh, FFS! The worst part of this is that, by the time their "investigation" is finished, he won't be president any longer and will not face any consequences for his actions.

I don't like the idea my death will cause others pain, either. Perhaps it is because I watched my father die in front of me when I was 5, but one minute he was in intense pain and the next he was at peace. Heart attacks will do that sometimes. I've never been frightened by the idea of death since.

Dying is not scary to me. If there's nothing after death, what is there to be scared of? If there's life after death, it's too late to change anything as you're dying, so you may as well lie back and enjoy the ride as you go to pastures new.

Honestly, I would like to see it, but on a mortuary slab - and I'm not even American. I hate what he has turned America into.

SNAP may get funding for 2026, but will the recipients actually GET the benefits? After all, there was funding for the shutdown, and they didn't give it out.
