you can search using "from:username" or "from:me" to search your own posts. it also picks up words in the alt text for images.

i did this about 2 months ago, for the same reason. the first 2 weeks were hard but now i feel great. still think about it from time to time but it's sure nice to have better attention span and a bit more spending money
